I may get some flack for this but-
ah-no I won't-
Adam Sandler. He plays the same dumbass in almost every film.

This I will get flack for-
John f**king Wayne. One note macho poser a***ole.

He was not a cowboy and never fought in a war. He was an actor. And not a very versitale or good one.

from his 1971 PLAYBOY interview-
"With a lot of blacks, there's quite a bit of resentment along with their dissent, and possibly rightfully so. But we can't all of a sudden get down on our knees and turn everything over to the leadership of the blacks. I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. ... I don't feel we did wrong in taking this great country away from the Indians. Our so-called stealing of this country from them was just a matter of survival. There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves."

f**k this a***ole.
Just come out and say it, scumbag. f**k injuns and n****rs.  :hatred:
That's right- he can't because he's DEAD.

Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Pauly Shore... never seems bothered.

the wife from THE SHINING. really brings that film down for me. why did they cast her?

I agree that Segal is pretty awful.

Arnie... even tho I find it hard to deny his screen presence and his somewhat contageous personality,  he is a terrible actor imo

zombie no.one

OJ Simpson in those NAKED GUN films, perhaps it's not evident how bad he is because of what those films are and his role doesn't really require much in the way of acting chops anyway, but he really is super lame in them. I love all 3 films though

Alex

Arnold Schwarzenegger (with the exception of Maggie).

I'll agree with Pauly Shore.
I Thought Shelly Duvall was perfect for the SHINING.

Yeah- I didn't go into that film with high expectations. I was very surprised!

Well, to be honest, what's required from him is to be the biggest though motherf**ker, and I think he does the job pretty well.

Kubrick badgered, harassed and called Ms. Duvall at odd hours of the night to keep her on edge throughout filming of the movie.   She was pretty darned good in a lot of things IMHO.. like her own production of Shelly Duvall's Fairy Tale theater...

As for terrible actors, I remember being in a theater about to watch Blue Velvet when a trailer for COCKTAIL comes on.  The audience boos the second Tom Cruise pops up on screen.   I realized at that moment I was not alone in my disdain for that movie star.

BTW; I'm shocked no one has mentioned Tommy Wisseau yet...

I recently watched JACK REACHER. Thsi is the description of the character, acording to the books:

Reacher is described as being 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 m) tall, weighing 210–250 pounds (95–113 kg) and having a 50-inch (130 cm) chest. His face looked like it had been chipped out of rock by a sculptor who had ability but not much time.

And Tom Cruise starred the role. Just make your own conclusions.

I remember seeing a trailer of (I think) the second movie, and thinking "He is not big enough to play this role" and I have absolutely no familiarity with the books.

Andie McDowell..  I honestly do not know how she was allowed to be in front of the camera so many times?

GROUNDHOG DAY would have been a flawless film if it were not for her.

Rob Schneider.
