THE X FROM OUTER SPACE (1967) - Rough viewing here and I'm a big fan of Japanese monster movies. Astronauts pick up some kind of egg/spore from space and bring it back to earth. It breaks out and becomes a GODZILLA size monster tearing up Japan Godzilla style. The creature is something between YONGARY and REPTILICUS. Now if you don't enjoy the Monster while watching this film then sit back and enjoy that jazzy 60's lounge music from the film. They have some fun spacecraft also and some moments that would be great for MYSTERY THEATER 3000. FLIX showed this one tonight. Go to the Badmovies.org Review page to see and hear that that groovy music. X From Outer Space

Classic man! Classic! This is also one of the earlyist monster movies I've ever seen and I love it very much and I wish so much that Guilila would return someday.

Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

Ah-hahahahaha!
Space Lounge music!
And a space ship that looks like a butter dish , or a soup ladle, or...something.
And deely bobbers the size of a Buick!
Oh...Man, i wish Joel and the bot had gotten their hands on this one!

"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"

I can't even describe the sheer amount of brillance of this film, grade A material.  Giant green chickens are perhaps the most frightening monsters of all.  Doesn't Guilila like melt into foam as I recall?  I think we need a sequel too.

Yeah they shoot Guliliaum from Jets at the monster which cuts off it's energy or something and the white stuff that came out of Gulilia was it shrinking back into it's spore form. I think that covers everything and hell yes we need sequel.
