I think most of the shock has worn off, but I still haven't heard what we're doing yet and that feels like a weight that's just hanging above me.  

Do you need to call your sister?  

I tried.  
She really wasn't in the mood for taking at the time.  

Then it is obviously not your concern.  Arrangements will be made and perhaps you'll be informed.  

Harsh?  What I wrote is not "harsh" but honest and in your corner.  I had asked in response to your own posts twice if you called your sister.  What else can you do other than stay out of it and wait for news?  I am sorry if I'm too blunt.
