Something you don't see often in horror movies are drones



there is a small sequence with a drone in the not so good Poltergeist remake. However, I think drones as a main theme would have potential in horror movies when done right. Exploring abandoned haunted houses or graveyards with a drone while sitting safe in a car far away just sounds intruiging. And speaking of cars



There needs to be a horror film taking place in a traffic jam. I've been saying this for years.

I was thinking about a hospital where the staff at nights draw lots to see who gets to torture a patient and come up with the most inventive way of causing pain to those in their care. Then something starts killing off the staff.

Or

A daycare centre that specialises in looking after the offspring of evil deities.

Seems explicit or implicit in all "humans made the machines that killed them" movies.

Something that seems otherwise benign is somehow that doom of humanity.

"Invasion of the Body Snatchers" works it, because the alien plants are just doing what they do, but that's a rare plot device.

The fungi of "The Last of Us" are similarly inhuman and just doing what they do, but the fungus zombies aren't the real monsters.

How about a horror movie about a gang of ANTIFA/ BLM cannibals going around terrorizing people.

Someone who uses weaponized drones for murder. Seems like a plausible movie idea.

Make something of Trevor Henderson's into a movie.

If you haven't heard of him, he's an illustrator who made some well know internet creepypastas. He's made some really good and creepy monsters/demons/ others .

I'd love to see a move based on SirenHead ( a kaiju movie that'd be pure horror)  or the Smile Room.
