Ya know, like Stan and Ollie, Bogie and Bacall, Hepburn and Tracy, Tom and Jerry- you get the picture.

Mine of course is Bela and Boris. In 8 films together.
Oh yeah- you can use TV duos too- like Matt and Festus.

In South Africa from about 1949 to about 1965, we had Al Debbo and Fredrick Burgers, the Abbott and Costello of the SA film industry. They were really funny indeed and most of their humor was physical so language wasn't an issue. There is a wonderful scene in the film "Hier's Ons Weer' [Here We Are Again or It's Us Again] where they're in a haunted house and Debbo can't sleep, Burgers asks him why and Debbo replies that he's scared of the closet in the hall, inferring that someone's hiding in it to scare him.

Burgers: "Come with me." [takes Debbo by the hand and leads him to the closet]
Burgers: [opens door] "See? Nothing. Let's go sleep now."
Debbo [goes back to the closet, opens the other door and a body falls out on top of him]  :buggedout:
