Talk about your 2021 ice cream experiences here!

I assume Edy's brand is available everywhere. I have to say this is the creamiest grocery store ice cream I've ever had. Tasty, too, but the texture's what really impresses me. Not sure what they put in it that's different than other ice creams---if it gives me cancer, it was worth it. I guess it's the "slow churned" variety, not sure if other varieties have the same creaminess.

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

These here are fantastic!
You don't need a bowl- it's got caramel in the middle- and nuts on top!

In Texas we have a chain of stores called BRAUM'S that serves ice cream and burgers.
Literally the best ice cream I've ever had anywhere!

In our area it's called Dreyer's. It is good tho.

Used to get Blue Bell all the time till they had that listeria outbreak. Haven't had ice cream regularly since then.  :bluesad:

Braum's is good. They actually own their own farms, restaurants, & production lines. And their restaurants have mini grocery stores in them selling their products.

Yeah, it's weird. Edy's and Dreyer's are the same, but sold under different names in different parts of the country.

Magnum Double Salted Caramel is my current fave

Pretty much all Magnum flavors are excellent. They make the creamiest ice cream. They come with a chocolate lid and the inside walls of the cup is also covered in chocolate.

Winter here: ice cream not a fave right now

These are good. I don't think they're as creamy as the Edy's I posted but they're good.

I, too, eat ice cream all year round. But more in the summer than the winter.

I have to wait until September this year for that chance.

Never had Edy's. I don't think it is available here in Germany. I would like to try it though.

Most of my Facebook friends in the U.S. were crazy about Blue Bell ice cream, until that listeria thing happened.

Anyway, most overrated ice cream in my opinion: Ben & Jerrys.

Years ago, me and a few friends had just finished playing some mini golf on a hot summer Saturday.  Afterwards I suggested getting some ice cream after we picked up another friend who had to work. A different friend (there was five of us in total) suggested going to a local ice cream parlor that served a dish called a Destroyer.  Basically, it was an entire serving pan worth of different ice cream scoops, whipped cream, chopped nuts, etc.

We get to the parlor about 10-20 minutes before they close for the night.  The friend who suggested it, goes up to the counter and asks for the destroyer.  The girl behind the counter had all the color in her face drain out and could only answer with "You're kidding".  But nope, we weren't.  e had ordered the largest most complicated dish they served just before they closed.

As for flavors of ice cream I like:
Anything with chocolate and peanut butter or marshmallow.
I also like mint flavored ice cream which apparently a lot of people hate.
Cookies and cream or cookie dough ice cream is also delicious.

Ice Cream really is my favorite dessert.

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Here's a video which explains it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m48UjgPc6k8

Watched it last year, but I forgot why they have two names.
