Cashews and walnuts. For some reason nuts are very expensive here in Germany, except for peanuts. They are always cheap. I was trying to make pesto the other day but the pinenuts were to expensive.

I have a love/hate relationship with almonds. Sometimes I crave salted almonds, most of the time I just don't like them. From all nuts that come with skins I find the taste of almond skin more off putting than any other nut skins. However, I really dislike skinless almonds even more. I do like to bake and cook with almond flour though.
