Gladiators 7 (1962)

GLADIATORS 7 (1962) - Picked up this DVD for 3.99 today. It's a Italian/Spain Gladiator film that is very much like THE SEVEN SAMURAI (1954) and THE MAGNIFICIENT SEVEN (1960). It was an expensive production for a Italian/Spain co-production that copies ideas from a few films. It stars Richard Harrison and a cast of other foriegn stars. When the main character Darius go out to gather up the 7 gladiators he needs to get his dead fathers Spartan Kingdom back it plays just like the to movies above. He finds them one by one under memorable situations. This isn't the best sword and sandal film made in Italy/Spain, but it's not terrible either if you like these type adventure films. Good enough to purchase Burgomaster. You'll like it and believe it or not GLADIATORS 7 is in wide screen for $3.99.
