Radio Talk Show Host Glenn Beck is haralding DAT as the next "Rocky Horror Picture Show."  He says, in his opinion, it is a movie that will be a lot of fun for friends to go see together and talk back, or along with, the flick.

His staff is working on a script for RHPS - esque audience participation, and they hope to have it ready, at least a draft, within a week or so.

Like him or not (because of his politics), Beck is pretty cool in a lot of ways....his live radio re-make on Halloween of "War of the Worlds" a couple of years ago (I only heard parts of it later) was pretty cool, and this script for DAT will probably be a lot of fun.

Professor Hathaway:  I noticed you stopped stuttering.
Bodie:      I've been giving myself shock treatments.
Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.

I really need to get the Twilight Zone on DVD- it'll provide all kinds of interesting factoids for this message board.

AndyC and The Burgomaster: Thanks for reminding me that it was Burgess Meredith- I couldn't think of his name!

I really liked this movie, especially since my daughter took me for  free because she works at the theatre.

I was surprised that the cancer kid did not have a big reunion with his parents at the end.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

I liked it....my only real complaint is that most of the cool stuff happens pretty early in the movie, though that's better than waiting until the end I guess.  Just a fun summer popcorn flick, but I've always been a sucker for disaster flicks.
