I love this movie. It has that lovely old-style sci-fi energy like X-Minus One, or vintage Bradbury. No deep setup, just, here's what's going on, sit back and enjoy it.

Great film. George Pal's best work.

The Burgomaster

One of my favorites since I was a kid. Before cable TV and videotapes came along, I tried to watch these movies every time they were on TV (usually Saturday afternoons or Saturday nights):

* WAR OF THE WORLDS

* JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH

* ROBINSON CRUSOE ON MARS

* WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE

* THE BLOB
