This SA musical drama about a man-of-the-people singing priest who is torn between the community he serves and his love for a woman who is "gasp, shock, horror" a fashion model  :buggedout: was a huge box office success in SA in 1970. Good cheesy fun.  :teddyr: :teddyr:

I like the part where the priest goes into a bar to find one of his flock and asks the barkeep "to give me something to drink to keep the brother company: make it a beer" and the other barfly says "Give the man a proper drink"  :teddyr:
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.
