The Brooklyn Banker

I just finished watching the Brooklyn Banker and quite liked it.  I thought the acting was good throughout and I liked the unglamorous look at a mob in a neighborhood.

The reason I am posting though is that they play a game, behind a church, where they bet on how many fingers will be out (I think) when they show their hands.  Does anyone know the name of the game? And the rules exactly.

I haven't seen this movie but the game was probably called Odds & Evens. Everyone involved sticks out either an odd or even number of fingers and you bet on whether the final result of fingers shown by everyone in the game will be even or odd. Some variations come up but that's mainly it. Low-brow gambling that can be done anywhere fingers are found.
