I am getting sick of those ads for the "little blue pill" I don't want to here about how an old guy like Dole or Mark Martin take the pill, and definitly do not want to here in an Interview with Jack Nicholson how he takes Viagra and also walks around naked. I definitly don't want to here of the results of having the "effect" of the pill for four hours. So please someone end the madness! I am not against the sale or distribution of the pill just sick of the ads everywhere.

George

Viagra, Cialis, Massengale, Trojans, FDS.............

There are people in this world who want and need these products.  The ads for these keep the programs you like on TV.  Unfortunately, they are a necessary evil.

I personally hate the psychic line ads, but that's what I get when I watch crap like Springer.

I think there should be no advertising of prescription drugs. The drug companies should be using the 6 billion  plus they spend on these for research so they can lower the price.  The U.S. consumer subsidizes the rest of the world 's drugs with the exorbitent  prices we pay.

But, hey Gecko, I agree I get tired of seeing them too. Don't want to burst that teenage bubble, but  sex happens with middle agers and old folks, no matter how disgusting you might think it is.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

and it's a lot better :)

Sorry, but watching young people talk about sex and act sexy is like watching a garage band of kids who just picked up their instruments who think they know what they are doing.  Hang with some jazz cats who have been playing for decades; they talk less, they show less, but man, can they *play*...they just don't need to brag about it.

Although I will grant you that I don't like the ads either

Fearless Freep:

EEEEWWWWw! Old people *playing*. Sex was meant for young handsome/attrative people (like me). Naw, I know middle aged and older people have sex as well. I remember in middle school in one of my classes we watched a movie about Merlin and at the end he's a old man and he kisses his girlfriend (who's old also) and most of the class goes "EEWWW! Old people kissing!" The teacher (not exactly a spring chick either) laughed and said "Aw c'mon guys!" I couldn't help but smile at the classes overreaction. This also reminds me in another class when we watch "Robin and Merian" when we see the two lye down in a field with tall plants so we can't see. Class: EEEEEWWW. Teacher (not an old geezer but pass middle age): "Hey, we do that to you know!"
I don't think middle aged and up people having sex is THAT gross.

And I hate all these advertivments to.

Sorry if this has been brought up already. I didn't read the entire string of posts. But if you want to escape the "little blue pill" commercials so badly, Gecko, how about shutting off your TV and doing something else- like reading a book?

I don't mean to sound pretentious with that suggestion. It's just an idea.

It never came to me.

Then maybe you *do* need those ads...
