DR. PHIBES RISES AGAIN (1972) has folks killed by scorpions, locusts, and other critters.

And it's not nearly as cool as the original film.  Different actress as Vulnavia too.  And she wasn't a plausible accomplice before because she is an unscarred invulnerable demi-god...?

I misread that line: I only saw "I noticed Frogs and Pigs in my local HMV" and thought that you should call animal control

^ is it bad that I don't get this? I've heard of lenny bruce

just picked up PIGS bluray, looks kind of fun from the trailer.... still haven't had a chance to watch TERROR FROM OUT THE SKIES

also I just remembered another film I have from 1973, it's called PETS. .. I can't recall to what extent there is an animal attack element to the film, but I think there's a bit of that going on. I seem to remember it being a very random grindhousey type deal

yeah when I searched the phrase it came up with that song, and I thought oh yeah I never noticed that line before... but I still don't get the joke? :bluesad: :teddyr:

watched PIGS... very random. more of a low budget psycho-drama grindhouse (dare I say even 'art house') affair than an animal attack movie, but there were some pigs involved, I guess

I got to thinking, "Birds... Snakes.... Aeroplanes...." Naturally, that song popped into my ADD infested mind....

aaahhh ok...

I guess the song that springs to mind for me would be 'Daddy's Taking Us To The Zoo Tomorrow' (which I probably haven't heard since I was about 5)

watched TERROR FROM OUT THE SKIES.

Nice late 70s b-movie feel... some awkward dubbing, some funny dumb scenes. I liked how they managed to make what was effectively one hive of unremarkable bees seem like a potentially world ending threat.

Already mentioned but it's coming out on Blu-ray today (with an interesting cover):

Also not mentioned (I think) but also out on Blu today, from 1977:
