Feeling a bit hollow inside

Now that I've put my retirement papers in, seems like I have very little left. From 1 November I will be out and free from a lot of the stress and anger I've accumulated over the last few years.

Also no real reason to wake up at 5 am each morning to get ready for work: now I can lay in until 7 at least or until I need something to eat.

This has been my life every day since 1 December 1898: I am going to miss it.

You'll adjust to a new routine in about a month and it will feel normal. Be sure to keep busy!
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I can relate, sir. I am also "at sea" at the moment, as my job cut me loose on Aug. 1st.

I was given a fairly generous severance package so I'll be OK for the short term, but now I gotta figure out what to do with the rest o'my life. Which is really funny, cuz I'm 52 and I still don't have any idea what I wanna be when I grow up.  :teddyr:

You'll adjust, man!

How are you doing currently Trevor?

Feeling like a washing machine is churning my insides on a daily basis, Alex.

I heard from the Director-General's office that they have my memo re early retirement so I have to wait and see.

Most nights I don't sleep or have hassles sleeping: the only time I can sleep is during the day.

Thank God (I mean that sincerely) that I am quite busy with clients.
