My sister took one look at this movie's title and called it "B-movie crap". So I figured I'd bring it here.
The all-star cast(Gregory Peck[looking suspiciously like Sean Connery]David Niven, Roger Moore) was pretty nice to see, and the fact that it was based on a true story got another star in my book. It shouldn't be taken serously, which is I think the cause of its poor reputation. It had some terrific action too, particularly the tense fight betwixt Wolf Kahler and Gregory Peck and the final raid on the Nazi ship. They don't make scenes like that anymore...
Sorry. Didn't mean to get all misty-eyed. Your thoughts on this overlooked classic.
