DUEL (1971) a made-for-TV film, was on TCM last night (amazingly) and it holds up.  Claustrophobic is how I'd describe it.
DENNIS WEAVER might give his best performance.  Nice job.
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

zombie no.one

the first couple of times I watched this as a kid I had to go to bed before the ending... which made me obsessed with seeing the ending!

watched it again fairly recently and I won't lie I thought it had dated a bit, especially the bits where Denis Weaver starts talking to himself. but still a great film, built on the most simple premise

I saw it on TV- when it was released as a tv movie. Love it. Of course Spielberg became famous- but I like his early films so much better sometimes.

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

One of Spielberg's best, let alone one of the best TV horror films.

Very good movie. Watch out for the goof involving the phone booth.
