Beatles! HELTER SKELTER!
I have these scary Manson memories when I was kid, Dad was watching Walter Cronkite and Vietnam and Nixon- but what f**ked me up was sitting in front of the TV with my brothers and sister, was Charlies crazy ass on the news. Him mugging for the camera. The girls singing. It freaked me out. I was already reading Famous Monsters and watching Double Creature Feature. This got me ready for the LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, and stuff like that. Horror movies couldn't keep up with the real world.

But after the news, Ch.41 Shock theater came on!

^ How is it?

The Neil Young live recording is good music but a little low on the recording quality scale.

This is a little hard to describe, sort of jazzy, often interesting but not really challenging, reminds me of something Wyndham Hill might have put out if they latest to the current day.

Been listening to the new Metallica album (72 Seasons) over the past few days... and it has yet to "click" for me. In fact, it's pretty dull. I should have gotten the new Overkill CD instead.

I once told James Hetfield that his beard was stupid. He glared at me but didn't say anything back.
