We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Compare this cover by the Northern Kings to the happy poppy original by Kylie Minogue.

If I ever find myself stalking someone, I am going to leave this song playing where they can hear it, but not see where it is coming from.
Hail to thyself
For I am my own master
I am my own god
I require no shepherd
For I am no sheep.

Rev. Powell

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

This is not who I thought sung this song.

Even without the Insidious connection, I think it has a creepy aura to it.
Hail to thyself
For I am my own master
I am my own god
I require no shepherd
For I am no sheep.

Oh, just remembered this one. Bit of a story here. I'd heard that if you lay in water warmed to the same temperature as blood, and stayed in it for a while it would cause your mind to hallucinate. One day I cracked open a beer, lay in such a bath being maintained at a stead temperature and had some music playing in the background.

I don't remember much about what I saw that day, but I do remember what I saw when this song was playing.  :bouncegiggle:

The songs aren't spooky but the story behind the cover image of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Street Survivor's album is slightly. It was released three days before the band's plane crash and shows members surrounded by flames, and the story goes that the band members who died in the crash were the ones touched by fire on the cover, with the expression on Ronnie Van Zant's face being particularly eerie in light of the legend surrounding that photograph and what happened to him.

There always seemed some spooky menace in this song.
