The star of Hair and Sidney Lumet's Prince of the City has passed away in a motorcycle accident at the age of 71 ☹️
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Sorry to hear about this. He was in some really fun movies. Sounds like he was in a motorbike accident.

That's a bummer. I really liked his work in Dead Heat, Deep Rising, and the Substitute series.

Also his turn as the bad guy in the mid 90s Shadow movie.

You're thinking of his delightfully hammy performance in the *OTHER* 1930s adaptation, The Phantom.  What was up with all the films adapted from/inspired by 30s source material in the early 90s?  There's like a half dozen at least.

RIp Treat.  Always did greatly enjoy his comedic performances.  Every film he was in was better for his presence.
