First up, the word kak, pronounced kark or kuk and meaning 💩 in all its forms.

Can be used to describe how you are feeling (I'm feeling kak or like kak) or where you find yourself now (this is a real kak situation).

Either way, it comes from the Afrikaans word kak meaning poo and everyone in SA knows what it means, no matter what their mother tongue is. 😳😉

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Example: the toilet was full of kak after someone used too much toilet paper, resulting in it being clogged.

Maybe that's where the baby word "Ka-ka" comes from?

This actually happened at the school I'm subbing at this week.

That staff bathroom has been marked as closed by the janitorial staff.

Next up, the word "moer", pronounced moo-er. It can mean a bolt (as in attached to a nut) or hit as in a sucker punch.

It can also be used in a rude way in the phrase "Jou moer" meaning "Up yours" and was used in the movie Lethal Weapon 2 where one of the cops tells a South African diplomat not to mess with him and the diplomat says "Jou moer"  :buggedout:

Next up, the word "kaalgat", pronounced "karl-ghut".

Simple meaning: bare butt nekkid, nothing more 😳😉

Another word which breaks language barriers as everyone knows what it means.
