I have learned to reconcile my own free will with the concept that ultimately my life will reach a point toward which I was partially led by the decisions and consequences of that free will acting in concert with the intrusion of factors over which I will have had no control. I think of that concept as cinneadhadh (kin-na-aw) after the Irish words for "decision" and "luck".

Nobody seems to like Bill Maher much.

He's too smug for me. I like Stephan Colbert, who is actually funny.
Mahr- he is an atheist, like me. But he mocks people who ARE religious- not radical political religious nuts, just anybody folks who believe in God,- calling them stupid. Which makes him stupid and narrow minded.
f**k him. He becomes what he claims to hate. And hate is the key word there.

^Me too. Once I see some shmuck go 1 dollar over me- I jump 5. If they want this- they gonna pay.
What I look for is small sellers. Lotsa them have cool stuff- and you end up being the only bidder.
Of course I mostly bid on weird books and magazines and strange old s**t and trinkets.
It's like a flea market at home. And I usta go to yard sales and flea markets all the time when I was young and had wheels.

Wow, overnight I got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 emails from US soldiers asking me to "kindly" help them conceal money in my bank account. They musta hit the mother load over there. We're gonna be so rich....

Makes a change from all the ones I get from women seeking a man in whatever country is having a war or natural disaster or whatever.

I just find it odd that no matter where these women have came from, the emails all come from Nigeria.

When I get scam emails like that, I reply in the filthiest Afrikaans I know and hope they don't know how to use Google Translate 😳😉
