Kingdom Come: Deliverance

I've been disappointed by most of the games I've bought in the '20s (after some great games in the '10s) and I'm hesitant to give this one a go. From what I've seen and read the good parts of this game are great, the bad aspects are maddening. So I don't know if I want to go down the road with another 100-hour investment.
