I saw Secret Window a couple of weeks ago and somebody metioned the other day at work how the twist got them.   Most people I know, including myself figured out the "twist" long before the movie revealed it.

The two movies I can think of right now that got me were the Usual Suspects and Seven...oh and The Sixth Sense got me too.  Didn't suspect he was dead.

Want to watch a movie with a great ending twist..one that makes you want to watch it again to see if you can catch it the second time around.  Any genre, good or bad...don't care.  Any suggestions??

FRAILTY is has a pretty good twist...

"to do is to be" - Jean-Paul Sartre
"do be do be do" - Frank Sinatra

Donnie Darko...you'll know there was a twist, but you won't be quite sure what the hell it is until you really think hard about it and talk about it with other people.
and possibly my favorite movie of all time...
Once Upon a Time in America, but you have to be committed to watch that one because it's almost 4 hours long.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one..saw it 3 times, because I forced others to go..lol.  Some thought it sucked, but me...I still hold strong, I really liked that one.   What a way to play with the emotions of your audience...it really questions our abilty to know "right" from "wrong" based only one's perspective...

How we all judge too soon because someone just knows how to play the strings! :0)

"Fight Club" has a good twist.

I think I would need a movie more obscure, for I have seen a lot..esp blockbuster hits (or at least mainstream ones in most theatres) like Fight Club and Frailty.  Of course I don't mind if you post your favs :0), but to those who have a more extensive film list, I would appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks!

The Burgomaster

* THE OTHERS

* THE OTHER (the movie from the 1970s . . . not the Nicole Kidman flick)

* DEATHTRAP and SLEUTH have numerous twists throughout, not just at the end.

* UNBREAKABLE (but, I warn you, it is a terrible and disappointing twist . . . but it still qualifies as a twist)

* WHAT LIES BENEATH

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Memento has a good twist

Diggstown does too

Then there is the ever loving twist at the end of Sleepaway camp

And to fill the Kevin Spacey quota, The Life of David Gale has a twist.

Also of note are MAnos: "The hands of Fate", Terror Firmer, and The Ugly

Well that was fun...in a f****in' sick, terrible, not at all fun kinda way.

Loyal1, I'm gonna have to disagree with your sterotyping Fight Club as a mainstream film.  It is most definently not, and even did poorly at the theater if I'm not mistaken.

Most of David Fincher's work has twists as most have mentioned with Fight Club and Se7en.  But, how can anyone forget the perfect twist at the end of The Game?  Incredible film with numerous twists throughout it's entirety but the ending is so completely perfect.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

I liked K-Pax, not that it was really a twist, but it left you to your own conclusions.  I know some people thought the movie was sappy and syrupy, but hey syrup is okay with pancakes and I like pancakes.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Perhaps I shouldn't say mainstream, but well known?  I know many that saw Fight Club, and was a popular rental at Blockbuster Video.  I use to work there, and then a mom and pop video place.  I would say momento was way less known then Fight Club.  The Game...that was popular too at the rentals becuase of big name actors.

Most listed I have seen, but there are some good gems in here.  Thanks for your help!

how about a BAD TWISTER...MYSTIC RIVER...you can see the ending from a mile offshore...
