Paparazzi.  Has anyone seen the trailer for this? I saw it on E network the other day. I've been waiting for someone to make a movie like this.  A thriller about crazy stalker paparazzi.  I didn't see the Passion and I'm not crazy about putting more money into Gibson's pocket, more because he's already so f**king rich than his politics , but give credit where it's due.  Maybe it will suck, but it has much better chance of not sucking judging by what I've seen anyway. I think it opens next month.

Why not a film about a crazed fading celebrity who stalks and kills paparazzi and tabloid reporters hoping to restart their career in the hoopla when they become a suspect while at the same getting even with the people who he believes ruined his career in the first place? Kind of an insane person's variation on getting arrested  for a minor run-in with the law to generate interest in a has-been.

You could make it a black comedy or satire, kind of "A Shock to the System" meets "Phantom of the Paradise" meets "The Player".

I finally got around to watching the trailer last night, and I was not impressed.  The film looks like standard fare, and Passion kind of ruined me on Gibson.

I did like the comparing of the camera to a gun in the beginning of the trailer, but otherwise nothing ground breaking.  Gonna avoid this flick.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.
