I rented House of the Dead for my cousin the other day so I can show him how bad the film is. Within the first five minutes, there were tears running down our eyes due to laughter. Even the DVD menu screen made us laugh. INSERT COINS! We played the DVD on my PS2 and we thought we got a video game or something. We were going to hit the start button or something. And then I showed him the trailer for Alone in the Dark and it looks even worse then House of the Dead.

Here comes to 64,000 dollar question: How do you pronounce his name? Is it pronounced "You Ball" or what?

PS: HOTD was hilarious! I'm thinking of buying it cause its so bad. Plus, the babes are so hot. Especially Alicia.

I always pronounced his name  "You-ee Bowl"

I assume that's the correct pronunciation

If his name is German, most likely it's pronounced "oo-vee".
W is always pronounced with a V sound and U could be done as either "you" or "oo" ("you" without the Y).

On the House of the Dead commentary, he introduces himself and pronounces it "oo-vuh bowl."  I would imagine he would know how to pronounce his own name properly, but with him, you never know.

I've always pronunced his name the way it looks (You-wee Bowl).  But, come to think of it, I try not to mention his name too often.

However you pronounce it, its definately got to be a name he has to spell out to everyone.
House of the Dead was terrible, I have to agree. The fight scenes really were like watching a video game, but you couldn't control it. Terrible!
