She's Syrian and I think he really is some kind of Marxist or something. Seems like a nice enough guy, I think some of his ideas haven't worked out well in like Chicago, California and elsewhere. Obviously his anti Israel stuff wasn't a turn off for me though.

^ Yes you could. Just not President. Arnold Shwarzennegger was govorner of California- and he was born in Austria.
What should be illegal are felons running for office- so theives like our current President wouldn't be where he is.

Only the President is required to be a natural-born citizen. You would be allowed to run for office if you became a US citizen for some number of years (depending on the type of office).
