Listening to Tattoo You for the first time. They seem like they are just dicking around in a studio and no longer have anything to say. It has some interesting and colorful stuff. What a strange trajectory this band has had.

THE ROLLING STONES do not have a bad album.  One of their best selling USA albums was the collection of singles Flowers not released UK;  great singles, great album. 
Tattoo You is an album that should not have been.  I like that album a lot.

that's about it for me, Stones wise... never really clicked with their schtick

When new, Goat's Head Soup got fair to poor reviews; 50 years ago it was reviled.  Of course, it sold well with at least one hit 45.  It is a pretty good album..

THE STONES have 2 other undoubted classic albums: Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed. 
My own favorite is Exile ...
