TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974) is a masterpiece, but it is so powerful it was almost "traumatizing".
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

The head in the box sequence from GORKY PARK 😳😳😳

I'm told I was traumatized as a kid by BAMBI.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I think I watched about 30 minutes of that, no more.

Almost every scene in the movie LOST IN THE DESERT 😳
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Gabriel Knight

Definitely SLEEPAWAY CAMP. The entire run I was like "lol, this is a cheap copy of FRIDAY THE 13TH", until the ending came. I don't know what it is, but that face completely took me by surprise.

I don't know if it's exactly traumatizing but

1. Marina Monster (2008) - This movie made me really upset because every scene was exactly the same. They would come out onto this boating area and say this stuff. In particular the one guy would say "Father, I mean Commodore ___" whatever his name was. It happened again and again.

2. Doug Domokos: The Wheelie King - This was a documentary about a guy who used to open Evel Knieval's shows. He starts talking about wheelies and the whole thing is him doing wheelies. After a while it starts to feel insane because it's just these relentless wheelies in every direction.

Nothing. Like the ad said- "It's only a movie. Only a movie. Only a movie."
Christ.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

One that I can think of, The Exorcist. I saw it when I was fairly young and in Catholic school with a mandatory visit to mass either Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Yeah I can see that.

The EXORCIST was banned here for almost two decades.

The Burgomaster

I can't say a movie has ever traumatized me. But watching both Salo and A Serbian Film within a short time period made me feel like I needed several showers.

I don't blame you for feeling that way or needing those showers 😳😉🐢

Bucky Larson  :hatred:  :hatred:  :hatred:

pick a scene....the one where a dude takes out his junk and inserts it into a goats mouth comes to mind immediately, followed by the title character watching his parents porn movie

f**king piece of trash
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

I almost rented that thing on DVD about a decade ago. I had it in my hands and then I thought I heard you saying "Trevor, put down the DVD case and step away slowly." 😳😉😏🐢
