The conservative Christian commentator and public debator was shot dead at an event at Utah Valley University ☹️

RIP: while I'm a political neutral, I always liked his no nonsense debates and his easy-going nature with the public.

  Never heard him speak, but no matter who this happens to it's bad.

The exercise of free speech shouldn't result in the death penalty. What a terrible  occurrence.

He came along right around the time I abandoned right wing talk radio and FOX news, so I never heard anything other than brief sound bites here and there.  He said some things I strongly disagreed with, and some things that I agreed with just as strongly.

But no one should be murdered in cold blood for speaking their opinions.

Shame on us.  We are better than this.
