Mulatu is great. He's announced this will be his final album (understandable, considering he's 81).

Vintage Obscura does these Halloween mixes of creepy old fashioned songs.

"There's a Creature in the Surfer's Lagoon" by the Deadly Ones (1964) playing right now. Basically, it's a generic surf song with generic Halloween sounds over it.

"Saving Grace" by Robert Plant. His voice is mostly gone, but the music is good.

just had a listen... sounds like a hoarse old blues singer now, and seems to have back up on vox quite a bit. fair enough for still doing it though!

the only old timer whose voice seems unaffected by, erm, time... is Rob Halford of Judas Priest

saw Oasis a couple of weeks before this album came out... never been to any other gig with such a buzzing atmosphere.  I'm not exactly an Oasis superfan but I do really like them

I thought I'd heard this album before, but it turns out I hadn't... it was a first time listen for me. Of course I'd heard some of the singles before. I do like the occasional single from them ("Don't Look Back in  Anger"), but overall I'm lukewarm.
