I have been wanting to see this ever since I saw the trailer on YouTube this spring.  I was a bit disappointed that our local theater didn't air it, but on the first day of our Thanksgiving Break (yesterday), Patty and I drove over to AMC Firewheel in Garland to watch it (that's a northeastern suburb of Dallas, about an hour away). Even though it cost twice what our little theater in Sulphur Springs charges, I was glad we made the trip.  This film is INCREDIBLY well done.  Russell Crowe gave an Oscar-worthy performance as Hermann Goering, who is menacing and charming by turn. Rami Malek gives the lead character, psychologist Dr. Dopuglas Kelly, a cynical yet vulnerable personality who is both attracted and repulsed by the evil he sees in Goering.  Michael Shannon brings a great deal of gravitas and dignity to the character of Robert Jackson, the Supreme Court Justice who acted as chief prosecutor at Nuremberg.
Overall, this was probably the single best movie I have seen this year.  Beautifully filmed, perfectly cast, and largely historically accurate, NUREMBERG is history, drama, a memory, and a warning.  If I can find a way to do it, this will be required viewing for my history classes in the future. 5/5
