Geraldo is closer to an actor than a newscaster, IMO. A rambling camera-loving, psuedo-macho media whore who wouldn't know objectivity if it broke his nose with a chair. I was annoyed this weekend to see him blathering away late into the night on Fox News during the hurricane. Dan Rather looks stupid enough playing correspondent/man of action doing stuff like this.

But Geraldo did play a character named "Albert Romero" on an episode of "Baywatch" and also on "Baywatch Nights", so if you want to split hairs he has acted in other roles than playing an egotistical newsman calling himself Geraldo Rivera.
