Does anyone know if they're ever gonna release Clone High USA, Daria or Sifl and Olly on DVD?

I mean these are the only 3 non-Beavis and Butthead Shows that the channel had worth watching in my opinion and with the exception of Daria they got cancelled quick but I think they'd make some good money on DVD, Sifl and Olly big time.

Any thoughts?

I've read that "Clone High" was much more popular in Canada (where it also aired first). Hate how badly MTV treated the show. Would love to see a DVD set, at some time. Hell, there's a DVD set of the first season of "Sitting Ducks" out, which sadly enough I've though of buying. Stoopid cheap CGI kids show that actually made me like it.....

The "Sifl and Olly" website (www.sifl-n-olly.com) has a DVD of episodes from an unaired third season for sale. I read years ago that the guys who created the show can't do anything to put the first two seasons' episodes out on video until MTV's license for the show expires, no idea when that would be or if it's still in effect. Been so long since I saw the show I didn't realize that "United States of Whatever" song that's been floating around for years was by one of the guys behind the show (Liam), and first appeared on the show. Damn I miss that one too. "Buy my powdered meats........SUCKERS!!!"

Clone High was a great show.  Hilarious stuff.

Undergrads was another of my favorite MTV shows that got cancelled quickly.  I need to pick that up on DVD sometime.

I would kill for a Sifl And Olly DVD.  Chester was fantastic!  Anyone remember the "Faces Of Death" episode?

In addition to "Beavis and Butthead" and "Sifl and Olly" I used to watch "The Andy Dick Show." I'd kill for that DVD. He had some hillarious skits on that show.

"The Assistant", a new Andy Dick related show, is also great, but I can't see myself buying a DVD of that. As funny as it is, reality shows don't hold up to repeat viewings.

How about "The Max"? "Why do I look like an Eagles album cover?"

If I ever stalked an animated teenage girl, it would be Daria Morgendorfer.

someone else brought up today at college talking aobut this... Does anyone remember The Head?

I remember The Head. On the whole, it displeased me.

Bad idea, if you axe me.  The N tends to edit Daria VICIOUSLY in order to make the show palpable to the under 14 set.  Episodes like "The F Word" and "Antisocial Climbers" have especially suffered because of this.  My advice is to visit www.the-wildone.com/dvdaria and sign the petition to get the show on DVD.  God knows that's where it belongs.

In case your interested, the two Daria TV movies are available on DVD, and they come with a couple of "Bonus episodes" each.  Unfortunately, in a supreme act of carlessness, Viacom released the edited-for-commercials version of "Is it College Yet?" for DVD, and as a result, over 8 minutes of footage that appeared in the original airing is missing on the DVD.  You can deceid for yourself if it's still worth buying.  "Is it Fall Yet?" was left unscathed, though, so thank heaven for small favors.

I use to tape every sifl and olly episode back when it first appeared in the summer of 1998. I think it was only on at 12:30 or something then. I have every episode I'm pretty sure plus I ordered that season 3 dvd a long time ago which is cool. Faces of Death episode?- is that the one with the screaming headache tablet and light bulb? I remember that.

There's a tape of either "The Maxx" or "The Head" at a local pawn shop I visit, can't remember which. I liked "The Maxx" for its style and mood more than the plot. "The Head" seemed like it might have worked as a one-off special, but the series usually but me in a bad mood waiting for whatever was better that came on after it (the same way "The Brak Show" did on Adult Swim).

Screw both series, the next time I go in there I'm buying that "Macron 1" tape if they still have it.

Here's hoping no one has a fondness for a boxed set of "Dead at 21".

I remember S&O coming on fairly late when it first debuted on MTV, but I didn't get into it until they moved it to about 6:30 Central once it was all reruns. I was entertaining myself at work thinking about this thread and S&O. Wasn't there a running joke about Olly's mom being really hot, then it turned out Sifl was Olly's stepdad? I liked the mutant clones episode, but was it in that episode or in another one that they went to a strip club, and one of the duo's lap dancers was the three-eyed mutant?

A morning radio show on WRAX in Birmingham, AL used to use the "Calls, calls, calls/Calls from the public" jingle for years after S&O went off. Can't remember if it was the old show "Beaner & Ken" (who were so-so) or the current one "Tuttle & Kline" (who are pathetically lame).

StatCat!

That's the episode.  That one episode really sticks out in my mind.  Fantastic Stuff!

I taped all the episodes of The Maxx when it aired.

They need to film a conclusion to that show. :)
