I haven't seen mention of this movie but the trailers are growing more interesting. It makes me wonder if it will be kinda like "Dark City"

Watch the Trailer

Hard to say, the director did "Dreamscape", "The Stepfather", and "sleeping with the enemy". The writer on the other hand..mostly made for tv stuff. The cast is Julianne moore, gary sinese, Dominic West, Anthony Edwards. Any thoughts on this?

Susan,

Dark City immediatly came to mind when I first saw the trialer a few weeks ago.  I'll probably catch it on video, cause I have a feeling it might suck.

And why do they name films like this?  You know the critics are going to eat it up.

"The Forgotten?  That's what this movie should be.", etc.

Yeah the title is an easy shot. I guess i'll wait and see if people receive it well, but i wouldn't want to know the spoiler if there is one which is why i'd better see it in theaters before i found out. I was glad to see Dark City in theaters, it wasn't very popular either but i really enjoyed it. Very dark, very noir.

Fogotten?

I thought it was a black film when I saw how you spelled the title.

Dark City is still one of my favorite films to come out of the last decade.

The whole passive progressive noir aspect of the film was beautiful and breathtaking.

For some reason the trailer made me think of two completely miserable films, "Darkness Falls" and "They." That does not bode well.  But we'll see.
