I just love the evil dead movies they rule I consider them some of the greatest movies of all time if you disagree then you are clearly a mommas boy that hates and anything remotely cool. If you dont like it whats your favorite movie.

My favorite movie is You've Got Mail.  Meg Ryan is a great American actress.

FaerieOfDeath

Will, I really hope you're kidding.  But come to think of it, who could resist Tom Hanks?  "It's romantic and witty!"

All three Evil Deads were excellent zombie movies, along with Dead Alive and Dawn Of The Dead.  As for "quality" movies, Fight Club, Monty Python and the Holy Grail (just purchased today!), Hamlet (the Ethan Hawk/Julia Stiles version), The Little Mermaid, American Beauty, PI, and American Psycho are at the top of my list.  I'm not sure where to put Requiem for a Dream, it was so well done, yet it made me feel so violated.  Just today I was forced to decide whether to recommend it to a friend of mine or not.  However, I had no such problem commanding her to watch Dead Alive.

People must think I'm crazy, but I feel the evil Dead's are overrated. I saw the trilogy in one night for the first time a few months ago and was kinda dissapointed. They werem't bad or anything but i didn't think they were great. Halloween is definitely better.Bad Taste is better, Phantasm is better. My favorite movie ever is Better Off Dead. The characters in that movie are the best ever. The most overrated movie ever is Hellraiser. That sucked. The House by the Cemetery was really cool, along w/ gates of hell

The interesting thing is that no two people will ever completely agree on every movie.  Heck, I'd bet there is someone out there who thinks that "Octaman" is the best film ever made.  Now, I would certainly argue that they should watch more than one film before making their decision, but how can you disprove an opinion?

My favorite movie of all time has been Jaws, saw it first run when I was eight and never changed my mind once in 26+ years.

Halloween, The Brood, The Thing (82), and Day of the Dead round out the top 5 spots.

Octaman?

The Evil Deads are great, but for me, in terms of sheer awesomeness, nothing beats Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and Pulp Fiction. Some of my other faves are This Is Spinal Tap, Plan 9 From Outer Space, Young Frankenstein, Army of Darkness, Monty Python & the Holy Grail, and Corman's original Little Shop of Horrors & A Bucket of Blood (They're the same movie, really, but they're both great).

hey man i totally agree with you. i saw the first Evil Dead when i was like 13 years old and ever since they have been my favorite movies of all time. have you ever seen the final one of the trilogy? the movie is called Army of Darkness. that movie and the other two are by far the best movies ever made! hey man drop an e-mail on me sometime at envyhead@juno.com .

Return of the living dead (anything zombie related I'll watch but return is my favorite out of the many I've seen) or Dario Argento movies are my favorites.
