A fraud and con man, I know. But my parents had Chariots of the Gods, and I came across it at an impressionable age. This was instrumental in sparking a life long fascination with the bizarre and the unexplained.
So, RIP from twelve year old me.

Me too. I read Chariots of The Gods and Charles Berlitz's The Bermuda Triangle when I was very young: Dad went with me to the library to ask the people "Why are you letting my son read this crap?" which is what he thought about the books, not me.

It's been a lot time since I've heard anyone mention anything about the Bermuda Triangle. 

I hope it's still doing okay.  Has anybody checked on it lately?

The problem with all of these theories is that there is still hardly any proof. Yeah there was Noah's flood. But ok. Beyond you saying that there are flood myths all over the world what is it that you are trying to actually say? And I can't even get into Giorgio Tsoukalos anymore. I used to. He has gotten boring or even second hat and no his crazy hair is not enough to spur any extra interest.
I think there actually was a Noah's flood. Beyond what it says in the bible, I don't have a clue. As far as Atlantis, I am still on the fence about that. If anything people like Von Däniken were a hit job against that..I mean if there is any actual truth to it, I think most of his work has been counter productive to finding out that truth. I mean Göbekli Tepe and places like that weren't discovered by him. And now the Turkish military guards these places. You seriously wonder why that is.

I always joke like with Erich von Däniken that he spiritually passed the baton off to Giorgio Tsoukalos. I mean they are both from Europe I think.
