What have you been listening to?, part 2

"Memory Bomb" by Kiefer

[Rev. Powell]

Includes rehearsal recordings that are fun because the Beatles are so playful, and also feature alternate versions of some songs. Not my favorite Beatles album, but interesting and important because it's here they start transitioning from teen idols into full-time serious songwriters.

"She's the Best" by Troye Sivan

[Rev. Powell]

Sort of an anime fairytale audiobook with an original score.

[Rev. Powell]

"L I N D A" by Linda Sikhakhane. More South African jazz. The scene there is pretty strong.

[Rev. Powell]

Ambient-ish, but with saxophone solos to liven things up. Not bad.

"do you love the color of the sky?" by Dummy

[Rev. Powell]

A folk-blues suite about the residents of a Minnesota boarding house. Good but only 35 minutes long, would have been nice if he'd written another song or 2 to flesh it out.
