DAWN OF THE DEAD (2004) - Incredible zombie film !  You have all probably seen this one at the theater, but I just rented it and it was much better than I even anticipated based on what I had heard. Those are some fast moving zombies and that virus works  just as fast. Loved all the characters from the film also. This is a must see for horror fans. Great stuff and another great remake.

Great remake? no, good remake? pretty close. lacks a lot of intelligence though.

save the world, kill a politician or two.

This is the same publicity still of the movie I’ve been seeing on the internet since prior to its release and it still never fails to amaze me that the folks over at Universal let this one slip.  It’s remarkable how the zombie’s stomach has somehow managed to stay all pink and healthy looking despite the fact that he’s obviously been dead for quite some time.

Yeah, I agree with Monster X.  Pretty shoddy job on Universal's side.

I felt the new Dawn was one of the best horror films to be released in recent memory.  It held it's own as a zombie flick and was insanely fun.  Well worth seeing.

The only drawback of the film is the name.  I think it would have worked better as anything other than "Dawn Of The Dead".  But then again, we'd now be b***hing about how much of a rip off it was of Dawn.  Oh well.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

Who cares how good it was!  Zombie films should be accepted no matter how bad , good or intelligence.  It's about time Zombie films made a comeback...

I really enjoyed the remake and found it very funny [when I see a zombie film, I don't care about scares, but whether it's enjoyable] and whilst many say it lacks alot of intelligence, I'm of the opinion that the proper reply should be: "Brains?  Brains..."  said repetitively.

As you can no doubt tell, I just plain like zombie films.

There have been some good Zombie films over the past couple years like:

Dawn of the Dead
Shaun of the Dead
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Apocalypse
28 Days (not my favorite, but ok)
