According to Production Weekly production of B5: The Memory of Shadows will begin in April in the UK.  Steven Beck (13 Ghosts, Ghost Ship) will direct from a script by J. Michael Straczynski.

The technology of the ancient and extinct Shadow race is being unleashed upon the galaxy by an unknown force, and Earthforce intelligence officer Diane Baker, whose brother was recently killed in a mysterious explosion, sets out to find out who is behind the conspiracy, Joining her is Galen, a techno-mage who has been charged with keeping the technology out of the hands of those who would abuse it.

Galen is the coolest character JMS ever created.  Those who got to see the short-lived  Crusade series know Galen (portrayed by Peter Woodward).  I could find no word about any of the other regulars from B5 or Crusade being in the movie.

Steve Beck was also the visual effects art director at ILM for  The Abyss, The Hunt for Red October, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Would personally rather see the "Divine Shadow" myself ;)

I know it'll never happen, but I still wish JMS would find some network to produce the rest of Crusade, the way he intended it.

Actually it looks like the film is already in preproduction mode.

Totally sweet..  I never got to see any of the Crusader stuff.

Crusade was not allowed to live up to Joe's plans....but whats new bout that?

Peter Woodward is a lot of fun to watch on the History channel shows he's been in. I also like the Crusade eph. where his dad was the guest star, as an older Techo-mage.

Crusade was pretty weak but really, there can't be *any* excuse for the TV movie "Legend of the Rangers". Let's hope that was just a mistep on JMS's part because it honestly was one of the worst things ever created.

Flangepart

I donno, Prophet. "Rangers" was a decent action adventure fill in for the depth of commitment shows by the heros.
And, lets face it, its always nice to Andreas K. at work. G'Kar is one of my favorite aliens. Right up there with Spock and his dad.

>Crusade was pretty weak

It started out a little weak, but you only got to see the first 1/10 of what JMS intended. B5 got stronger as it went along too.

trekgeezer

You're right about Andreas Katsulas, he and Peter Jurasik deserved to get Emmys for the work they did on B5.

I thought  Rangers was not  that great, other than G'Kar 's small appearance it really didn't feel like a B5 show.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Got that, Trek.
My fave. G'kar and Lando moment : Trapped in a elevator by a terrorist bomb...
Lando : I hate my life...
G'kar : So do i!
Lando : Shut up!!
