BIG DOLL HOUSE (1971) - Prison movie filmed in the Philippines. They seemed to use an old prison for an authentic setting. Pam Grier stars in this film directed by Jack Hill. They seem to have done at least two films together one of them being FOXY BROWN. The film itself isn't as good as CAGED HEAT in my opinion, but it was ok. The look was more interesting as it was shot in the Philippines and some of the cast are from that country. This one overall was not as wild as I thought it might be.

My favorite one of these was the shaw brothers "Bamboo house of dolls".  It really had that brutal 70's exploitation edge.  I haven't seen the re-issue but It probably looks great.  Only problem is that it's subtitles and dubbed is the way to go for stuff like this I think.

Couldn't find it on Netflix, but will put it on list.

BAMBOO HOUSE OF DOLLS is available as a Region 3 NTSC DVD. Here is a link to Xploited Cinema's page for the DVD. I have not seen this one yet.

Nice Euro link. Love those Spaghetti Western titles. Anyone know if there are more mail rental companies like netflix that handle all those Euro films?
