BATTLE OF THE WORLDS (1961) - Sci-Fi film from Italy starring Claude Rains as the obnoxious professor. The film is good as they put some effort into it with a decent cast and images. I liked the whole film except the parts with Claude Rains. Not sure if it was him or the character the script made him out to be, but overall a good Sci-Fi film that also gives you flying saucers, spacecraft, and  enough bad space lingo to make you head spin.

Don't you just love those older movie posters. Whether the movie was any good or not, they always made it seem like a thrill ride.

The problem with most of these is that the poster was a helluva lot better than the movie ended up being.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

They still use posters that are better than the movie. (:

I have the Dr. Goulfinger hosted version.
I liked Raines. His crumugon old fart was the liveliest thing in this "Space spagetti"
Definatly good MST fodder, Either Backtalk from the Bots, or Cleveland Style, its all good.

I think there's a subliminal message in the equasions at the upper left.
