I picked up this laugh riot on DVD for about $7.00.  The liner notes inside the DVD box say that it was made for $60,000!

The evil/insane Dr. Oliver Frank (who we eventually discover is really Dr. Frankenstein), spikes the fruit punch of his scientist-partner's niece and she turns into an ugly monster who stalks around at night scaring people.  Before long, Dr. Frank goes on a date with a young blond, runs her over with the car, and takes her head home.  He attaches it to the body of a (male?!?) corpse and creates "Frankenstein's Daughter."  The monster has an ugly, melted face, wears bandages around her head, and is dressed in a rubber suit and gloves.  While all this is going on, we also get to see young John Ashley (who later went on to appear in some AIP beach party movies and the infamous "Blood Island" movies) and his friends singing and dancing at a pool party.

This movie is definitely worth $7.00 and is great for repeat viewings.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

This film FRANKENSTEINS DAUGHTER was one of my first B-Movies that I found after being inspired to watch more B-Movies because of the movie ED WOOD in the 90's.  I liked the part where the monster stiffly walks thru the door and them remembers to put  its arms back in the Frankenstein position. Phew .........that was an ugly monster.

Where DID you pick it up?  This is one of my personal favorites, Donald Murphy chewing up BIG chunks of scenery as Oliver Frank MD (Mad Docktor), and a lumbering she-male monster.  Channel 13 used to broadcast local stuff in the 70s, and this was a big player on Dr. ZinGRRs Monster Theater, along with The Creeping Terror, although I don't think Plan 9 ever graced this show.

Some people like cupcakes better--I for one care less for them

You should really check out the rest of Richard Cunha's Z movies...The Giant From The Unknown, Missile To The Moon & his awesome She Demons...big time entertainment

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.
