THE FLYING SERPENT (1946) - A poverty row studio PRC producted this film starring George Zucco about an Aztec mythical feathered serpent called Quetzalcoatl. This flying serpent attacks those that hold onto a feather that belongs to the creature. Not a great film, but the flying creature is kinda neat soaring thru the air. Not sure why this studio thought George Zucco was so great to play the lead. (Money I suppose). I mean he isn't bad, but he's not a lead character.

Here's a nice website on George Zucco. It's still interesting to look at B-movie stars life and film career.

David Carradine did a great job with this material in "Q" -- It made a nest in the Chrysler building in NYC!!
Now this is yet another what looks like a GREAT B-film that I have never even heard of --
So many films . . . so short a life . . .

Peter Johnson don't run out to buy THE FLYING SERPENT, but if you can see it cheap then it might be worth a look.
