Unsure if it was a movie or part of a show.  A slow-witted man i think is on the run, accused of something but he hides in a cornfield pretending to be the scarecrow. I remember his eyes real big, freaked me out, i wanna think a pitchfork was driven into him

Yep, Menard hit it.  Your description sounds like Dark Night Of The Scarecrow which was a better than average TV picture.

I remember watching that film when I was a kid and it creeped me out big time.

yep yep yep! That was it, i was discussing it with someone the other day and they never heard of it but it got me to thinking of what that title was. I'll have to put that on my list although i doubt i'll be able to find it to rent anywhere

Btw has anybody watched that horror channel, do they show movies like this or is it another crap sci-fi channel?

I think The Horror Channel has fallen by the wayside, or at least it's on digital cable, which I don't get.  I was really looking forward to it, too.
