Frank Gorshin really seemed to enjoy his part as the Riddler and really got into the role. RIP

I met him at a comic convention about 5 years ago. Real nice guy. RIP.

Menard

He was a talented actor who could really bring something special to his roles. There never has been nor will ever be a better Riddler.

Hey Frank actually got an Emmy nomination for the Riddler. He was also a stand up comic and impressionist. As I remember he could do Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas really well.

He appeared in one of my favorite old B movies, "Invasion of the Saucermen".

He'll be missed.

Check out his biography at IMDB

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Susan

Bummer. He was a great character tho. I used to love the old batman series, the joker gave me the willies but i always liked the riddler

The Riddler was the best character on the Batman series (well, aside from Catwoman for obvious reasons). He acted the part so well you'd swear he was really insane. He obviously took the role quite seriously and made the Riddler come alive.

It seems ironic that the week Frank Gorshin passes away, he is on the season finale of CSI tonight. It was nice to see him one last time.

Menard

They also dedicated the episode to him at the end.

Did a great Jimmy cagney, too.
RIP, Frank
