Some films I recently only saw parts of:

NEW YORK MINUTE (2004) - Don't ask me how, but I was entertained by this Olsen twins movie. Some kids were playing it this weekend before a sweet sixteen party and I had nothing better to do than watch with them.

ELF (2003) - Looks like a good one. It got better as he arrived at Gimbles Department Store. Saw it on the table at the same party and quickly slipped it in while the others got ready for the party. Bob Newhart is also in this one.

CONSTINTINE (2005) - Missed the last half hour of this film before going to bed. I liked it. Had some weak moments, but not bad. Will try to catch the ending some day.

Elf wasn't too bad.  I'm a sucker for anything with WIll Ferrell, and Zooey Daschenal is hot.

As for Constintine, the last half hour is the best.  It's actually a bit of a slow film but having Peter Stormare as Lucifer - Pure Genius.  He was the best thing about the film.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

I was looking at the poster for Constantine when I was in WorstBuy the other day... Is that what it appears to be (a cross-shaped machine gun)?

I have the poster for Constantine in a room in our house.  It is a sort of homemade cross shaped shotgun of sorts.

I enjoyed the movie itself, I like the idea of heaven vs hell battles and the wager between God and Lucifer.

But if you have read the original comics, Hellblazer, the move kind of loses the smarmy British charm that Hellblazer had.

But I liked the film quite alot and enjoyed it quite thourougly.

I saw New York Minute with my girlfriend a while ago [her idea of course].  Whilst it is a bit of a silly movie, Eugene Levy was good and I enjoyed just the general silliness of it.  I agree with Scott in that, don't ask me why, but I was entertained [kinda] by it.  Not a classic by any measure of course, and I still can't look at the Olsen Twins and think 'they are just wearing towels, that's hot' but I can suspend my inner-critic and outer-cynic enough to enjoy this for what it is: silly 'fun'

I saw Constatnie is the thearters while I enjoyed my inner comic crtitc wanted to scream at the end. You will enjoy more if your not a fan of the comic.
