Hallmark Channel

• “Supernova,” a 3-hour sci-fi thriller about the day the earth caught fire, stars Luke Perry, Tia Carrere and Peter Fonda. “Supernova” premieres Monday, September 5 (8/7 c).

• “Landslide,” a two-hour movie event about an environmental disaster that has swallowed up a community, stars Vincent Spano, Alexandra Paul and Kathryne Dora Brown. “Landslide,” the race to get above ground, premieres Saturday, September 10 (9/8 c).

• “Jules Verne’s Mysterious Island,” a three-hour movie event, is the most thrilling adventure unknown to man. Starring Kyle MacLachlan, Omar Gooding, Gabrielle Anwar and Patrick Stewart, “Jules Verne’s Mysterious Island” is directed by Russell Mulcahy (Highlander, Highlander II) and premieres Saturday, September 17 (8/7 c).

Mysterious Island looks like the best bet. Patrick Stewart plays Nemo. More info and a trailer here.

Seen the ads for this one: It has a 26 foot windspan, it's invisible to radar, and can smell blood at 3000 feet!

Man with the Screaming Brain - Bruce Campell wrote, directed, and stars in this tale of two men in the same body out for revenge.  Sat. Sept. 10 at 9E/8C

I'll be watching Mysterious Island. SciFi does replay their Satuday movies the following Thursday at the same time.

Wait, they actually made a sequel to Dracula 3000?  Oh dear god... That film was so incredibly annoying!!!!  Granted I did watch it on VCD but that doesn't make up for the fact that every time I think about that film I shudder...

On a better note, Man With a Screaming Brain is one I'd like to see: I read 'If Chins Could Kill' a few months ago and he mentions it once or twice and it sounds good.

First things i thought as the egg rolled down the chute, was "Soon as the actors show we got the Ham to go with the eggs!"

Hey Flange, I missed this one but did see a little bit at the beginning (I was waiting for Humanoids from the Deep at 8:45).

You have tell me  though, did the snotty little blonde  b***h get taken out in some excitingly horrible way?

Finally saw the commerical for Man With The Screaming Brain! That is going to be some great made-for-cable fun! Even my idiot dad is excited about seeing it....

Trek : Haven't see the tape yet, but i'd not be suprised. Its Jabootu at heart so i bet, yeah.
