Being ot the B-movie mindset, the  ol' brain cells can't help but wonder what sort of plot ideas can be cooked up from such an article.

Are those molemen about to make an appearance in force?

Are the aliens digging out after millenia underground? Have you heard about any other strange bulges in the earth?

What strange reason can you think up for The Bulge?

Mystery Bulge Still Growing

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Living an hour away from said ulge, I shall definitely start taking precautions against giant insects.  That was the first thing I thought of (hee hee Battle of the Bulge!).  Molemen always make me think of the guy on the Simpsons.

Good news is that my sister in law lives nearby!

Whoops, was that aloud?  I'm in that vacation state of mind and just not tracking

Yellowstone was having those 200 ft. bulges last year. The national park is one giant super volcano. Saw on TV yesterday they are selling land for $700 an acre somewhere around Casper Wyoming. (That's probably expensive out there).

Then again the bulge could be China preparing for an attack.

No doubt, I tried to use mine as drink coasters, but they didn't work, so I had to chuck 'em.
