As a small Halloween token, a friend of my girlfriend's family gave me a double feature DVD with Atom Age Vampire and Revolt of the Zombies as well as a Casper cartoon. She knew I liked bad movies and had began to watch bad movies herself. She mentioned she had just recently saw Carnival of Souls and was really spooked by it. I felt bad telling her about the horrors of Beast of the Yucca Flats because she was going to watch it next. Her eyes lit up like saucer plates when I mentioned Tor Johnson. hehehe

Earlier this week, I came across a copy of The Sentinel (1977) at Big Lot's.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076683/
At $4.99, it was kinda pricey for a bulk closeout store, but I hadn't seen it for a number of years.
Interestingly enough, the particular copy that I picked up had a lot more sex & violence than I've seen in any other print.
However, the big disappointment was that in this particular print, they edited out the part at the end in which this homosexual with a VooDoo mask is running around at a party chanting "BOO" as though someone just poured ice cubes down his panties.
Dare I say it, but frankly, that was the only reason I really wanted to see this movie again.
I dunno, I guess I was hoping I could use it to make a new error wave for my computer or something.

My brother just bought Scrubs series 2 which I have been watching on and off all weekend, as well as Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls [YAY!]

My own recent purchases aren't as exciting, but in the last few weeks I've gathered:

Spartan
Collateral
Scarface
Avalon
Ewok Adventures: Caravan of Courage and Battle For Endor
Kagemusha
Resident Evil: Apocalypse

I seem to just buy movies when they are cheap or at an ex-rental sale and not watch them for a while.  I've only gone through about half of them so far.
